Many consultants and service providers are claiming to be “ISO 55000 compliant” or promising prospective clients that their offerings will guarantee ISO certification. One claim which does warrant further discussion, is the one made by suppliers of Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAMS) that their system is “ISO 55000 compliant”.
